Bowl showings: Kentucky jumps into Sugar Bowl bid
The No. 8 Kentucky Wildcats continue to improve after coming off a 3-0 start this season.
After their 31-0 thrashing of Youngstown State, the Cats are seeing some respect in the latest bowl showings entering Week Four. Here’s where the media predict Kentucky will land after one quarter of the 2022 season:

How about another trip to Orlando? That’s the current projection for Kentucky, according to Sports Illustrated. The opponent of the Big Ten? Not Will Levis’ former home at Penn State, but the Michigan State Spartans.
Remaining in the Sunshine State, Mark Schlabach at ESPN and CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm have the Wildcats participate in the ReliaQuest Bowl (formerly the Outback Bowl).
The match would be against an ACC opponent. Schlabach has the NC State Wolfpack in the game, while Palm sees the Miami Hurricanes in the playoff tilt.
Wildcats Today will have updates throughout the season as bowl game projections change.
